Hanging day, in order

Measure and plan. We work out the number of drops, the pattern repeat and the starting line before cutting paper.
Prepare the wall. Repairs are made, the wall is primed or sized, and a plumb line is marked.
Paste and hang. Each strip is hung to the line, brushed flat, and its seam checked against the last.
Trim and clean. Edges are trimmed with a sharp blade, excess paste is wiped off, and leftover paper is handed back to you.
