Planning a paint job in Kelowna

If you are on a strata council, start early. Changes to common property normally need strata approval under the BC Strata Property Act, and the bylaws often set work hours and noise limits. We can provide a written scope to bring to your meeting, which helps the council vote on specifics rather than guesses. A building owner or manager might also want to see how the work is staged so tenants know when to expect noise.

Timing is the other big factor. Exterior latex generally should not be applied below about 10 C, so outside work is for warm weather, and interior jobs fill the rest of the year. Home age matters too: lead paint is probable in homes built before 1960 and possible from 1960 to 1990, so we ask and test before sanding.
